David Nick is a 2009 MIF with a 6'2'', 175 lb. frame from Cypress, CA who attends Cypress. Nick has an athletic lean body and he is an athletic infielder with great hands and fluid actions in the field. David can really hit, arguably the best hitter in the 2009 class. The ball easily jumps off his barrel and he can drive the ball to all fields. He is short to the ball with easy power. He has good balance in his swing and his already outstanding bat projects even more. He made plus contact in the games and can also run as show by a 6.56 sixty time. Nick is a top 2009 early draft follow and has made a verbal commitment to the UCLA Bruins. He is an outstanding student. Aflac All American
