Marc Stanoev is a 2007 OF with a 5'10'', 160 lb. frame from Whitby ON, who attends All Saints Catholic HS. He has an athletic build with some present strength and good overall body life. Stanoev had good quickness on the field and appears faster than his 7.03 60 time. He has very good instincts and range in centerfield and can really track balls down in the alleys and over his head. He plays defense with a lot of confidence. His throwing arm is very strong as well. Offensively, Stanoev is an aggressive hitter who takes a full, hard swing. He has some back side collapse in his swing, which leaves hiim with an upper cut swing plane. Stanoev drives the ball hard to the middle of the field and took good swings in the games against live pitching. His approach is a bit long now, especially for a smaller speed player, and he may have to shorten up a bit at the next level.
