Austin Beller is a 2015 1B/3B with a 6-2 187 lb. frame from Richardson, TX who attends Richardson-Berkner HS. Tall athletic build, lots of room to get stronger. Right handed hitter, pre-load approach with limited shift to the ball and a still hand start, needs to get some rhythm and flow into his swing, has some strength when bat gets started, long and strong swing, ball comes off the barrel hard with carry, has the strength and tools to improve with adjustments. 7.00 runner, moves well at first base, showed good arm strength for the position in drills. Also pitched, fastball topped out at 76 mph. Good student.
