James Wright is a 2008 middle infielder from New York with a slender lean build at 5-7, 140 lbs. Wright is a young player who has time to fill out and gain strength as he gets older. Wright fields the ball well and has good arm strength for his age at 71 mph across the infield. At the plate, Wright has a contact hitter's approach who has some bat control. Wright has a short compact swing and starts from an open stance. Wright demonstrated the ability to hit the ball to all fields well. Wright will only improve as he matures and gains strength.
