Jared Jackson is a 2018 C/RHP, OF with a 6-2 195 lb. frame from Encinitas, CA who attends La Costa Canyon. Large frame with long limbs and an athletic build. Projects for additional strength. Right handed hitter with an upright, even stance and high back elbow set. Utilized a simple front side trigger with lower half worked to contact with rotational actions. Compact hand path to contact with a level barrel plane through extension. Barrel enters and exits the zone quickly producing occasional bat speed through finish. Primarily worked to the middle of the field employing a line drive approach throughout batting practice. Very good student as well.
