Cole Monson is a 2016 RHP/2B with a 5-6 124 lb. frame from Garden Grove, CA who attends Garden Grove. Smaller, young frame with a lot of room to get stronger. Pitches from a high three-quarter arm angle and reaches 72 mph with his fastball. Flashes good arm side running action. Shows a good feel for pitching, and has tight rotation on his 11-5 curveball. Arm strength in the field is still developing but shows soft infield hands and a quick release. Bats right-handed, shows good bat speed and uses a line drive approach. Gets on his front foot at times, but is very compact to the ball.
