Joshua Soward is a 2016 2B/OF with a 5-10 180 lb. frame from Fort Worth, TX who attends Arlington Heights. Medium, athletic frame with a strong build. Sound runner, posted a 6.86 60 yard dash. Shows well with the glove in infield, fields out front, quick release, flashes arm strength on accurate throws. Needs to get on top of throws from the outfield, quick to the ball, short arm action with on-line throws. Left handed batter, starts with a low hand set and uses a leg lift trigger. Aggressive stride, pull side approach and contact, gets extension in swing with lift, makes contact out front. Very good student.
