Greg Dupell is a 5'11" 180 pound 2009 catcher and third baseman from Jesuit High School in Tampa, Florida who was named to the Top Prospect Team. He has a medium build with good thickness. He has a good flexible crouch and shows some quickness behind the plate. He is very athletic and has a strong arm. He threw 72 mph during the workout with a pop time of 2.08. Dupell has very good bat speed for his age. He has a quiet set up and hits with high hands. He swings hard and has a short path to the ball. He is a pull hitter with above average power and the ball really jumps off his bat. He is a left handed hitter with good tools for his age. Greg is a very good baserunner as well, taking the extra base when there are bad throws.
