Joe Enea is a 2015 3B/1B, RHP with a 6-4 195 lb. frame from Manhasset, NY who attends Manhasset Secondary. Extra-large, athletic frame with a lean, projectable build and room to fill out with added strength. Ran a 7.13 60-yard dash. Primary infielder, fields the ball out front, good arm strength across on throws from a long arm action, moves in well while charging. Worked a quick and efficient inning on mound, creates sharp downhill plane on fastball which topped out at 80 mph. Right-handed batter, starts with a high hand set, confident approach at the plate. Uses long limbs to create extension in swing, wrapped start, some length in swing but shows good bat speed in swing. Very strong at contact, good feel for barrel, ball jumps off, shows strength to opposite field. Named to Sunshine Northeast Top Prospect List. Good student.
