Tyler Sharp is a 2015 SS/RHP with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Pace, FL who attends Pace HS. Long and lean athletic build, lots of room to get stronger. 7.04 runner, good infield actions, moves to the ball well with athletic balance, has arm strength, tools to stay in the middle of the field. Right handed hitter, line drive swing plane from a high hand start, swings hard and creates bat speed, good hand quickness, ball comes off the barrel well, tends to cut his swing off out front costing him some power. Also pitched, long extended arm action from a 3/4's slot, hides the ball well, pitches aggressively with a fastball to 81 mph, mostly straight, tends to slow arm on curveball with fair spin and some 11/5 depth. Works quickly and throws strikes. Good student. Named to the Top Prospect Team for this showcase.
