Andrew Susac is a 2009 C with a 6'1'', 190 lb. frame from Roseville, CA who attends Jesuit HS. Susac is an outstanding defensive catcher who flat out shuts down the oppositions running game. He has excellent arm strength and quickness behind the plate and makes accurate throws with a quick release. He receives well and blocks everything. He is a top pro level defensive catcher. He also has plenty of ability with the bat. He shows plus bat speed and hits hard line drives to all fields. He has a good approach, is short to the ball and hits it hard. The bat projects nicely. Definite highest level 2009 to follow. He has made an early verbal commitment to Oregon State, but scouts are going to like him a lot. Aflac All American
