Brison Finney is a 2017 LHP/1B with a 5-8 150 lb. frame from Fairburn, GA who attends Fulton Leadership Academy. Smaller young build, beginnings of some present strength. Long loose arm action, extended 3/4's arm slot, works quickly and throws with minimum effort from a high leg raise delivery, repeats his mechanics well. Fastball topped at 74 mph, mostly straight with the ability to throw to spots. Big breaking curveball with depth and solid spin, showed ability to get curveball inside to right handed hitters. Some feel for a change up. Mature pitcher for his age who has an idea on the mound. Left handed hitter, short sound approach at the plate, good hand path to the ball, makes solid and consistent line drive contact. Has ability on the mound and should keep improving as the strength and physical maturity start to kick in. Good student.
