Victor Huerta is a 2014 1B/ with a 5-10 175 lb. frame from Katy, TX who attends Cinco Ranch. Has a medium compact build with good present strength. Has good athletic actions at first base with soft hands and good feet around the bag. Has a good glove and is able to pick the ball well on throws in the dirt. Starts with an open stance at the plate with a sound approach and good swing mechanics. Takes an aggressive swing getting good extension while displaying bat speed with power and likes to drive the ball to left field. Is an outstanding student.
