Brody Howe is a 2016 SS/RHP, UT with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Fort Myers, FL who attends Cypress Lake. Medium, athletic frame with a lean, projectable build. Ran a 7.59 60 yard dash. Shows sure hands in the infield, long release on throws across, charges in nicely, throws show some strength and carry. Short arm action on throws from the outfield, good reads and reaction off the bat, works through the ball well, arm strength will to develop. Works quickly on the mound, short arm action with a tight release from a three-quarter arm slot. Stays balanced through delivery, gets arm side run on fastball that topped at 78 mph. Curveball shows solid 11-5 shape with late break, changeup shows cutting action. Left handed hitter, consistently gets the barrel to the ball, pull side contact, front side tends to open early, line drive swing plane with a quick bat, projects nicely with strength. Good student.
