Hodges Bailey is a 2017 OF/ with a 6-1 160 lb. frame from Centralia, WA who attends Centralia. Large, athletic frame with lean present build and excellent remaining projection. Ran well, posting a 7.02 seconds 60-yard dash. Hits from tall stance, slightly closed off, big stride with shift into contact. Short, strong swing with excellent overall swing approach. Squares up the ball consistently with some loft, best contact is to pull-field gap with easy extra base power at present with projection for more. Shows advanced coordination for age in the OF, fielding cleanly on the charge with projectable athleticism and overall defensive tools. Throws well from lower slot with compact arm action, showing accuracy on throws clocked at 81 MPH from the outfield. Named to 2015 Sunshine West Showcase Top Prospect List. Very good student.
