Dan O'Neill is a 2014 OF/ with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Naperville, IL who attends Wheaton Academy. O'Neill has a medium sized frame with a slender athletic build. Defensively, he has solid footwork to the baseball with solid actions through the baseball. He throws with a shorter arm action and has some arm strength up to 80 MPH. O'Neill is a good runner and posted a 6.93 time in the 60 yard dash. At the plate, he starts with a closed stance and uses a leg raise load to start his swing. He has some bat speed and the ball comes off his bat well. O'Neill tends to get around the ball and he showed some gap to gap pop. Very good student.
