Brayden Armstrong is a 2014 C/3B, RHP with a 6-1 195 lb. frame from San Tan Valley, AZ who attends Combs. Tall, strongly build athlete. Ran a 7.35 60 yard dash. Bats right-handed, works from a balanced setup and uses a small leg lift trigger. Flashes good bat speed and uses a long stride in his swing. Knows how to lift the ball. Gets the ball out quickly from behind the plate and gets the most out of his present arm strength. Blocks pitches well and has sound receiving actions. Also took the mound, reaches 75 mph with his fastball from a high three-quarter arm slot. Uses a high leg kick and hides the ball. Also mixes an 11-5 curveball with good depth. Good student.
