Ryan Vega Caballero is a 2014 OF with a 6-2 190 lb. frame from Manati, PR who attends Carlos Beltran Baseball Academy HS. Very projectable athletic build, tall and broad shouldered, young look. 6.84 runner, long and loose outfield arm action, accurate throws, can shorten up release and footwork. Right handed hitter, slightly open stance, low hand load, swings hard and creates bat speed, power approach but stays balanced and back on curveballs well, looks to pull the ball, hard game contact, good swing to project. Young prospect with some tools and a nice ceiling. Good student. Named to the World Showcase Top Prospect Team.
