Greg Hoffman is a 2013 1B/OF with a 6-0 195 lb. frame from Houston, TX who attends St Thomas HS. Strong physical build, fairly mature. Left handed hitter, good swing mechanics, line drive swing plane, has bat speed, short and quick to the ball, squares the ball up consistently, all fields, stays balanced, ball comes off the barrel well, high average approach but has the strength to develop power with more extension, polished hitter but still has projection left 7.32 runner, moves well laterally at first base, has plenty of arm strength for left field. Outstanding student.
