William McMillan is a 2006 first baseman/left handed pitcher from Bay Minette, AL with wide shoulders and a big frame at 6-2, 220 lbs. He shows lots of strength in his arms and wrists. He has a sharp downward swing plane and he generates decent bat speed. He keeps his hands in tight and has an upper body swing with little lower half involvement. He has the strength to hit for big power in the future. He has a strong arm at 85 mph with good accuracy. He is a huge target at first base and he moves well around the bag. He pitches with a long sling style arm action. His fastball tops at 81 mph with slight run. He has a deceptive arm action that keeps hitters off balance, especially left handed hitters.His curveball is sharp at 68 mph and shows depth. His change is at 71 mph. He has potential to be a solid 2-way guy at the next level.
