Alex Deutsch is a 2014 OF/SS with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Princeton, NJ who attends The Hun. Athletic, projectable build, has some length. Ran a 6.81 60 yard, agility shows up in all parts of his game. Flashes average arm strength from the outfield, showing sound actions charging the ball and a quick release. Not as polished on the infield, but throws are still accurate. Right-handed hitter, gets his foot down early, will be much better with improved timing. Has a compact swing with some strength, and knows how to use the opposite field. He's a high upside hitter with a good combination of present speed and power. Good student.
