Greg Popylisen is a 2013 OF with a 5-11 150 lb. frame from Lone Tree, CO who attends Valor Christian HS. Slender athletic build, room to get stronger. Right handed hitter, limited body shift in swing, hands tight, has good hand quickness, ball comes off the barrel well, tends to expand the strike zone in games. 6.67 runner, speed plays up in games, good baserunner with quick first step. Sound defensive fundamentals, accurate on line throws, good footwork, charges hard, speed plays on defense. Ceiling will be determined by future bat improvements. Good student.
