Joey Dills is a 2013 C/1B with a 6-4 215 lb. frame from Topanga, CA who attends Palisades Charter. Dills has a large frame with a strong athletic build. He has some arm strength defensively with carry on his throws. He stands up to throw and uses a long arm action. HIs pop time should improve with a few tweaks to his catch and throw mechanics. Dills receives well and showed some blocking skills. At the plate, Dills starts with a square stance and has an aggressive approach. He has quick hands to the baseball and has bat speed. He has strength in his swing and has power potential. Good tool set to improve upon. Very good student.
