Thomas Dyer is a 2006 outfielder from Brophy College Prep in Paradise Valley, Arizona, with a large frame at 6'0", 175 lbs. Dyer is a good looking athletic kid with good bat speed and balance throughout his swing. He attacks pitches in the hitting zone, and stays inside the ball well with the ability to use the whole field. He has a good approach at the plate and has raw power that he showed off in batting practice. Dyer is an outfielder with enough arm to play right field, and the speed and range to play center field. He makes plays look easy in the outfield. Not only does he have great instincts in the outfield, but he gets great jumps on the bases as well. Dyer showed great hustle during the event sprinting on and off the field, and showed a great attitude. He has the chance to hit at the top to middle of the order at the next level. He is a solid follow, and is a very good student.
