Brandon Hensel is a 2015 RHP/SS with a 5-9 185 lb. frame from Woodbury, MN who attends Hill Murray HS. Young prospect, medium build with some present strength. Simple leg raise delivery, swings arm in back, clean arm circle, high 3/4's arm slot, some front side stiffness on release. Fastball to 79 mph, mostly straight and tends to pitch up with fastball. Throws two different types of curve, harder slider-like breaker at 67 flashes depth at times, some developing feel for change up. Mixes it up and tries to pitch. Left handed hitter, busy load with high hands, rotational backside swing, some uppercut, developing hand quickness, has strength when ball squared up. Good student.
