Angel Luis Perez Rodriguez is a 2013 SS/RHP with a 6-1 182 lb. frame from Barceloneta, PR who attends Colegio San Felipe. Solid athletic frame with a projectable frame. Has good arm strength across the infield, with a long loose AA, has good lateral agility, makes sound defensive plays. Pitches from a 3/4 arm angle, has a high leg lift delivery with a long AA, throws a curveball with 11/5 break to it. Starts out with high hands and a high back elbow at the plate, has a line drive swing plane with lift in his swing, gets good extension at the plate, with good pop, has good bat speed and covers the plate well. Perez Rodriguez is a good student and a prospect to follow.
