Steven Popp is a 2008 3B/IF from Farmington HS, residing in Unionville, Connecticut, with a 5'11"/160 pound frame. Steven has a solid frame. He hits from a straight stance with a line drive swing plane and has solid bat speed. Popp centers the ball well and makes consistent solid contact. His power will improve as he gets stronger. Steven has soft hands in the infield with a solid arm at 79 mph. He has an accurate arm and solid range defensively. He needs to be more aggressive attacking the ball defensively. Popp is an excellent student.
