Clay Davis is a 2015 C/1B/RHP with a 6-4 198 lb. frame from Henderson, CO who attends Prairie View HS. Tall athletic build, especially for a catcher. Very sound catching skills and tools, receives the ball cleanly, keeps his exchange and release compact and quick, lean release, tends to stand up to throw a bit, on line throws with carry, 1.94 best pop time. Right handed hitter, rotational swing with some length and bat speed, has some power and projects more in the future, pull oriented swing. Projects in all areas. Good student.
