Troy Bacon is a 2015 RHP/SS with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Tampa, FL who attends Sickles HS. Slender athletic build, young look, lots of room to get stronger. Slow paced delivery, high 3/4's arm slot, compact quick arm coming through. Works two-seam/four-seam fastballs well with good feel and command of each, gets good sink on the two-seamer, four-seamer topped out at 91 mph. Change up is a good pitch with lots of late life, occasional depth to 11/5 curveball, mixes his four pitches well and pitches to spots, polished pitcher who could add some velocity with additional strength. Right handed hitter, sound fundamental swing, straight stance, short line drive swing, some effort at contact, flashed some gap power, has loose hands and projects. Third base tools defensively. Excellent student, verbal commitment to Florida.
