Hunter Spencer is a 2014 LHP/1B with a 6-4 170 lb. frame from Scottsburg, IN who attends Austin. Very tall, extra projectable build, has long limbs. Ran a 7.38 60 yard dash. Works from a three-quarter arm slot, repeats his delivery well. Fastball sits around 79-80 mph and also shows feel for his off speed pitches. Shows a sweeping 11-5 curveball at 68 mph and a nice, fading changeup at 73 mph. Has a legitimate three pitch mix he can throws strikes with. Also swung the bat, hits from the right side and works from a wide setup. Hits to the middle of the field and produces consistent line drives. Very good student.
