Stephen Johnson is a 2014 1B/LHP with a 6-0 220 lb. frame from Ocala, FL who attends Vanguard. Has a nice projectable frame with a solid build. Is a big target for the infielders to throw to which helps save errors. Has good feet around the bag with a smooth glove, an accurate arm with online carry. Is tall in the box with high hands and has a power approach at the plate. Has lift in his swing, shows bat speed, and showed off his power hitting Home Runs during BP. Has a simple leg raise delivery with a 3/4 arm slot with a short arm action. Fastball has tailing action, curveball has short bite to it, and has command of his pitches.
