Peter Zyla is a 2014 2B/C, RHP with a 5-10 175 lb. frame from Alpharetta, GA who attends St Pius X Catholic. Medium frame with a strong athletic compact build. Has good soft hands on the infield with good athletic actions. Has a strong accurate arm with good lateral agility. Behind the plate he has a quick transfer and release with a strong arm. He blocks balls well and has quick actions. Has quick hands at the plate with a good swing and a line drive swing plane. Stays inside the ball well with good bat speed and drives the ball with regular contact. Pitches from a high 3/4 arm slot with smooth repeatable mechanics. Has good arm speed maintains his arm speed on his changeup which has good sink to it. Is a excellent student.
