Spencer Sundahl is a 2014 C/1B with a 6-1 167 lb. frame from Chula Vista, CA who attends Eastlake. Sundahl has a medium sized frame with an athletic build. He has some arm strength with some carry on it. He made accurate throws and showed solid catch and throw tools. Sundahl blocked well behind the plate in game and showed good catching tools. Sundahl is a legit switch hitter who is presently better from the left side. From the left side, he starts with a slightly open stance and stays inside the ball well. He has a smooth swing and made hard contact in game. From the right side, Sundahl starts with a high hand set and uses a rotational swing. He has a more efforty swing from the right side but still has some bat speed. Good tools all around to improve upon. Very good student.
