Sam Arrietta is a 2011 RHP/ with a 6-3 190 lb. frame from Plano, TX who attends Plano East HS. Nice athletic build, some present strength. On-line delivery, long stride, tends to drift out and throw on a flat plane, arm works very smoothly, minimal effort release. Low 80's fastball, touched 85 mph, curve ball has a flat slide- type break, developing change up. Would benefit from taller release on FB/CB. Good projection.
