John Clark is a 2011 LHP/1B with a 6-2 190 lb. frame from Duluth, GA who attends Duluth HS. Strong thick athletic body. Moderate drop and drive delivery, quick compact arm action with 3/4's release point, good extension out front, works quickly. Low 80's fastball, topped at 84 mph, good lefty running action, sharp bite on curveball with good 2 plane break, keeps ball down in zone well, throws to spots effectively. Spread stance hitting, long smooth swing, has some strength at contact, best contact pulling, some lift. Good student.
