John Gault is a 2011 RHP/OF with a 6-4 195 lb. frame from Shreveport, LA who attends Calvary Baptist Academy. Strong athletic build with room to fill out more. Loose athletic actions, low effort delivery, good hip turn and balance, 3/4's arm slot, throws downhill, good direction, arm works well. Consistent 83-85 mph fastball, occasional arm side run, 11/5 curveball has shorter slider-type break, developing feel for change up. Shows his arm strength and athleticism in the outfield on defense, 7.29 runner, 90 mph arm in drills. Strength with the bat, shows bat speed, hits out front, upper body swing with some lift.
