Nicholas is a junior right handed pitcher from the San Francisco Bay Area with a tall, lean body that has plenty of room for added strength. He has a somewhat mechanical delivery with a slinging arm action and an upright finish. Nicholas' fastball topped out at 76 mph at the event and he also threw a 68 mph curveball. His best pitch was a deceptive change up that had nice action to it and that Nicholas spotted well in the strike zone. His overall pitchability was good and he had an idea how to mix his pitches. Adding strength will definitely help to move Nicholas' velocity up a couple of notches.
