Myles Lenz is a 2006 right handed pitcher/first baseman from Flower Mound, TX, with a tall thin frame at 6-1, 165 lbs. On the mound Myles threw from a ¾ arm slot with a long full arm action. His mechanics are a bit inconsistent but his arm works and his delivery is low effort. Myles showed a fastball that topped at 74 mph and sat in the 71-72 mph range with decent arm side run. Myles also showed decent feel for a 65 mph curveball with 12-6 rotation. During the games he also showed a 60 mph change but it seems to be still developing as a pitch for him. Overall Myles showed decent feel for two pitches and the makings of a third pitch. With gains in core and arm strength he could develop into a nice college prospect.
