Michael Jutkiewicz is a 2006 outfielder from Gulf Coast HS in Naples, FL, with a 5'9", 170 lb. frame. He has very good overall tools and is exciting to watch. Ran a very good sixty time at 6.79 with good first step quickness and athletic strides. Defensively he has good actions in the outfield and has good arm strength at 84 mph. His throws were on-line with good carry. At the plate he hits from a high hand set, but generates good bat speed. Jutkiewicz stays balanced through his swing and gets good leverage at contact. He has present raw power with more to come. His swing path is short to the ball, and he has a good load. He makes consistently solid contact, and he can just flat out hit. He looked very good in batting practice, as well as the showcase games. Jukiewicz has all-around skills with upside that make him a must follow for top programs.
