William Hartsell is a 2013 3B/RHP with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Central, SC who attends Easley HS. Medium stocky frame, has some present strength. Switch hitter, same approach both sides, open stance, never closes, still hand start, keeps hands tight and inside ball, swings hard with better bat speed right handed, level swing plane, will occasionally swing down to the ball. Good defensive actions at third base, good arm strength, has body control, quick release, throws carry well. Also pitched, easy delivery, fastball to 82 with good running live, curveball has some spin and 11/5 depth, mixes it up and throws strikes. Good student.
