Dalton Davis is a 2013 3B/RHP with a 6-4 205 lb. frame from Meridianville, AL who attends Hazel Green HS. Big strong mature build. Primary 3B, grades out higher as a right handed pitcher. Low effort delivery and release, high 3/4's arm slot, compact arm action, works quickly. Fastball steady at 85 mph, has topped at 88 frequently this summer, FB gets good cutting action at times. Nice sink on Chg, might be a split, can improve spin on curveball, may want to look at a slider. Left handed hitter, rotational swing with limited weight shift, tends to lean off, will flash strength at times. Charges the ball well at third base, multiple arm angles, good arm strength from lower release. Good student.
