Matt Kurland is a 2005 outfielder from Coral Spring, FL, with some solid baseball tools. Kurland ran a 6.71-60 and looks to be very athletic in his 6'1", 165 lb. frame. He also showed solid arm strength from the outfield with good on line carry and accuracy on his throws. He did show good actions defensively that would allow him to play all three outfield spots. He swings the bat well too. In fact he can hit, field, throw and especially run. And he projects very well physically. Keep an eye on this kid. Matt is a very good student.
