Joe Lubanski is a 2011 OF with a 6-2 190 lb. frame from Collegeville, PA who attends Malvern Prep. Tall angular build, good present strength. Left handed hitter, open spread stance, good hand position to start swing, smooth swing, good hitting rhythm, some strength at contact, flashes pop but gets out of box quickly, might benefit from hitting a bit more closed for lower half use. 6.78 runner, some arm strength, accurate on line throws, also throws open just as he hits. Outstanding student, verbal commitment to Yale.
