Cameron Neal is a 2011 OF/MIF with a 5-9 160 lb. frame from Houston, TX who attends St John's HS. Smaller compact frame with good present strength. Very good defensive outfielder, 6.69 speed, gets quick jumps and runs good routes, very accurate arm with quick release, + fundamentals. Simple hitting approach, late trigger, quick hands, level contact swing, consistent hard line drive contact, can get the ball into the gaps, 4.3 home to first base. Hard nosed high performance type player. Good student, verbal commitment to Tulane.
