2006 California Underclass
Jeff Kremer is a 2009 C/3B from Lake Oswego HS, residing in Portland, OR, with a 5'10" 180 lb. frame. Has a strong, durable catcher's type of body. Offensively he showed off a nice opposite field stroke and an early understanding of hitting at a pretty young age. He handled low pitches well and the ball exited his bat pretty well. Kremer has decent bat speed. He did a nice job of letting the ball travel and showed doubles power from gap to gap. Defensively he had consistent pop times and was accurate with his throws in the warm-ups. He is still developing feel for receiving quality stuff and needs to continue to get repititions. He works hard behind the plate and competed well. Colleges should follow this '09 LH bat that plays the catcher position.
