Goryl is an athletic 6-1 right hander with a young, projectable body and very smooth, easy mechanics. There are plenty of hard throwers and top prospects who could learn a lot from closely watching Goryl throw the ball. His fastball at the World Showcase was in the 78-81 mph range with good run and sink to it. Goryl also threw a 67-69 mph curveball and 70-73 mph change up for consistent quality strikes. He comes from a great baseball family and is a very good student as well.
