Michael Romano is a 2008 RHP from Central Catholic HS, residing in Atkinson, New Hampshire, with a 6'2"/202 pound frame. Michael has a solid frame. He pitches from a high 3/4 arm slot with circle arm action and solid arm speed. Romano uses effort in his delivery and needs to be more fluid. His fastball has cut at 82 mph to go with a solid curvebal at 61 mph and a changeup with slight sink at 71 mph. He hits from a slightly open stance with a top hand release. Michael has strength in his swing with raw power and makes consistent contact. He does drop his hands at times and needs to be more balanced. Romano has long arm action from first base with a solid arm at 78 mph. He has good footwork around the bag, Michael is an excellent student.
