Jacob Wechsler is a 2008 OF from Harborfields HS, residing in Huntington, Massachusetts, with a 5'11"/170 pound frame. Jacob has a lean frame. He hits from a slightly closed stance with a no stride approach. Wechsler has a line drive swing plane with solid bat speed. He has solid hands and uses the whole field to hit. Jacob will cast at times and needs to finish his follow through. He has short arm action from the outfield with a quick release at 82 mph. He has solid mechanics defensively and moves to the ball well. His release gets long at times and he needs to improve the carry on his throws. Wechsler is an excellent student.
