Brendan Norton is a 2008 MIF/3B/P from St Josephs Central HS, residing in Lanesboro, Massachusetts, with a 5'10"/150 pound frame. Brendan has a lean frame. He hits from an open stance with a high back elbow and closes well. Norton has solid hands at the plate with a line drive approach and looks to pull the ball. He is rotational at times and needs to use his lower half better. Brendan has soft hands in the infield with solid feet and range. He has short arm action at 75 mph with an accurate arm. Norton pitches from a 3/4 arm slot with a small arm circle and solid mechanics. He uses some effort in his delivery and needs to increase his velocity. His fastball has cut at 76 mph and he throws consistent strikes. Brendan has a solid 11-5 curveball at 68 mph and his changeup has sink at 68 mph. He is an excellent student.
