Massey is a 5-10 right handed hitting catcher from Wisconsin with a medium athletic frame. He ran the 60 in 7.86 and threw 70 mph in catcher’s drills with a best pop time of 2.23. Massey hits from a wide stance with low hands in his set up and limited loading action. He has a short path to the ball and shows some hand strength, which is needed with his approach. Massey hit the ball well to the opposite field during batting practice and really hit the ball well in games, picking up 4 hits in 6 at bats. Massey is a very good student.
